Any pledges of donations or offers by companies of discounts to the Mechanics or to Friends of the Mechanics will be listed here and later published by the local papers. hopefully :-)

This is a good place to make a special offer to the proposed company, pledging a donation, either offering a discount on your services to Friends of the Mechanics or to the Mechanics itself!.

Print my cunning plan and send it to your management.; Make it clear that you support the Mechanics and think it is a worthwhile cause.

! Remember all I am asking for is pledges, no money until the Mechanics is safely owned by the proposed company and back in the hands of the people of Swindon.
Pledges can be for anything;  unsold or returned PC's from PCWorld , free or cheap liability insurance from Allied Dunbar,  etc, etc.
Mind you, I think pledges of money will weigh more with the council.
