So the number of heart operations performed in the UK has gone down due to lack of beds?
Of course when we get our new hospital all will be well.............. NOT! With even less beds than at present??????
This should be taken up immediately with the council before its too late to change anything. The new hospital needs to be redesigned to house more beds. All the protests about too few beds being available seem to be exactly 'dead' right. If the council don't act to right this shortage, then there will be a few more dead NHS patients to prove it.

Crime is supposed to be low in Swindon, yet a boy is beaten unconscious at the Magic Roundabout without anyone helping him. Doesn't this sadden you? Are Swindonians cold and uncaring people?
Why not take a mental decision to 'raise' the alarm, 'do' something if YOU see some thing happen. All you have to do usually is slow down, beep your horn, shout out, or just dial 999 if you have a mobile.
Next time it might be you, being ignored while you are being mugged, beaten.
'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you', I think is the phrase :-)
